We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location in the heart of the historic district was perfect for sightseeing in the old city center. We were able to explore the nearby attractions easily. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, including 24-hour room service and laundry facilities. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the option of dining at the on-site restaurant or relaxing in the bar/lounge area. The outdoor swimming pool and sauna were great for unwinding after a day of exploring.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in this area. The location, service, and amenities provided here make it a great choice for both leisure and business travelers.

Air conditioning

No coffee shop, no lobby bar, no services at swimming pool ,bad location to the restaurant(need to take stairs)

The hotel is perfectly located in the best part of the old City and allows you to walk to the most interesting sites of Sao Luis. The breakfast if very good and offers you a great choice. The restaurant, as well, if you want to have a bite inside the hotel, has very good quality and variety of food. The swimming pool is not too big but enoght to take a rest for a couple of hours. Finally the staff gave us a good suggestion in relation to the Agency that organised our trip to the national park of Lenzois (one of the most impressive natural place on the earth we have ever seen, beautiful and light).

The staff could speak a poor English. If you do not have your own computer you have to pay in order to have access to internet.

Some guests had issues with the WiFi service, which was either slow or completely stopped working.

My partner and I had an amazing time at the hotel. the pool area was our favorite place to relax with comfy sun loungers and refreshing drinks on offer. the central location was a bonus, just a short stroll to cafes and shops. the staff was fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. We also loved the buffet breakfast with fresh juices and mouth-watering pastries.

The parking policy and had to pay extra to park our car at the hotel. the furniture and decor were outdated and could use a modern touch-up.

Nothing is perfect.

The spacious room I got at Grand was absolutely wonderful. The furniture was modern and comfortable, and the room had a fantastic view from the small balcony. The bathroom was clean and well-designed, ensuring no water leakage. The hotel's location in the historic center, near the cathedral and palace, was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast provided was also delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value and quality.
